The bench is located on the south side of Fifth Avenue as it climbs up to Shaver's Bench.

Wesley Francis Blair and Elizabeth Jane (Spence) Blair were wed on May 30, 1936 after having met in Creston, BC. Wes passed away in 1992 while Elizabeth (Betty) followed him on November 8th, 2012. Betty was born in Poplar Point, Manitoba, which is near Winnipeg. She was predeceased by their son Roy Blair in 1997. Roy was born in 1941 and is interred in the Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery.
