The Ohrmann Museum is located at 6155 Hwy. 1 SW of Drummond. If traveling south turn on Hwy. 1 before entering Drummond, it is 4.5 km to the museum. If traveling north continue through Drummond exit Hwy. 1. Directions are from Hwy. 90/12.

The Ohrmann Museum is a fascinating place to visit. The yard is filled with Bill Ohrmann's creations. This is a free museum and you are welcome to view, photograph and even sit on the Turtle.
Kodiak is life size and was created by talented artists Bill and John Ohrmann in 2012. He is made of stainless steel and is over 8 feet tall.
Kodiak bears are the largest subspecies of the brown bear. They have lived isolated from other bears for over 10,000 years. In the wild, Kodiak bears are found only on the islands in the Kodiak Archipelago off the south coast of Alaska.
The average adult male Kodiak bear stands five feet at the shoulder when on all four and can measure over 10 feet when standing upright. The average male weighs from 1000 to 1200 pounds.
Kodiak bears eat a variety of foods. In general, Kodiak bears are solitary creatures, though they often feed in large groups when food is plentiful like during the salmon runs through local rivers.

According to Mrs. Ohrmann, Bill was a rancher and artist all of his life. Though he has produced some amazing sculptures, he now limits his creativity to painting that he sells in the gallery.
As a note: all of the sculptures that are on display are "Not for Sale" and placed there purely for the enjoyment and appreciation of Mr. Ohrmann's talents.
