This benchmark is set in concrete atop the eastern wall of the bulkhead for the water control valve at the northwestern corner of Cooper Rd and Guadalupe Rd in Gilbert Arizona.
The metal disk is stamped radially with the initials S.R.V.W.U.A. on the top. Beneath are the words Benchmark, Elev. and Location. No numerals are present. Radially on the bottom are the words Engineering Department The initials are the abbreviation for the Salt River Valley Water Users Association.
The benchmark is clearly and completely visible atop and center of the eastern wall of the bulkhead. It is located 12 feet north of the northern edge of Guadalupe Road and 28 feet west of the western edge of Cooper Road.
