EN:
St. Joseph was the husband of the Virgin Mary, who gave birth to Jesus Christ as the Son of God (God the Father). Joseph was the son of Jacob (James) from the tribe of Judah. His memory is celebrated in the Czech Republic and throughout the Catholic world on March 19.
The Virgin Mary is the wife of Joseph the carpenter of Nazareth, according to the Christian faith, the mother of Jesus Christ, the second person and the divine son of God the Father.
Joseph was betrothed to the Virgin Mary, but before "meeting", conceived of the Holy Spirit (Mt 1:18). Because Joseph was a righteous and did not want to expose her shame, decided to dismiss her secretly. Appeared to him an angel of the Lord, however, and said that he should not be afraid to take Mary to themselves, because what it was conceived was of the Holy Spirit, and that her son is born, which has put the name of Jesus.
