From [T15S R10E S32] T16S R10E S5 6 CC COR (WAYMARK WMMV2R) continue E. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present standard corner bears N88.7°E from WAYMARK WMMV2R, 292' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on galvanized iron pipe in a ring of stones; rising 4"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is located on the edge of a power line easement. Found two ponderosa pines each with a scribed, partly-healed blaze, a yellow BEARING TREE tag and an ATTENTION sign on the backside. In addition to wooden lath lying about, there are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs mounted on a U-post.
What property is this mark defining?:
Land to the S is private property, else Deschutes National Forest.
The corner is on the Third Standard Parallel South.
