This generator and a francis turbine are on display at the street in front of the vocacional college of Lörrach. They were a donation of the power transmission plant in Rheinfelden.

The two machines were built in 1908 by Allgemeine- Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft for the facility in Wyhlen of Kraftübertragungswerke Rheinfelden AG.

The generator is a three-phase synchronous generator NED 107 / 3000.

The technical data were:

Output: 3000 kVA
Voltage: 6800/7300 V
Rotational Frequency: 107 r.p.m.
Weight: 120 t
