This really big rod, complete with fish, is beside Callahan Creek which crosses under Highway 2 here, at Callahan Creek Cutoff Road. There's a pullout and a small parking area for the curious.
We'd say that the rod is a good twenty feet in length and has a fly reel on it close to a foot in diameter. This isn't the only one of these "sculptures" in the vicinity. There is another identical one in Libby, several miles further east on Highway 2. The creator didn't leave a calling card.
