From [T15S R10E S31] T16S R10E S6 CC 1/4 COR (WAYMARK WMMTQG) continue E. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present standard corner bears N88.7°E from WAYMARK WMMTQG, 299' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on galvanized iron pipe in a mound of stones; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
Found two ponderosa pines each with a partly-healed blaze, a yellow BEARING TREE tag and an ATTENTION sign on the reverse side. The corner is marked with a wooden lath stake. In addition there are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs mounted on a U-post and an orange Carsonite witness post with a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal.


What property is this mark defining?:
Land to the S is private property, else Deschutes National Forest. The corner is on the Third Standard Parallel South. See also Oregon Corner Restoration Record, Index File No. 0277, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office.
