Peregrine Falcon is referred as "Eagle" on Large Canadian Roadside Attractions. He is a bronze sculpture placed by Osoyoos Mountain Estates at the entrances to their featured properties. Peregrine Falcon is very well executed and is displayed on large rocks. He is perched, always alert, waiting for that unsuspecting bird to soar by. The sculpture was created by an unknown artist. We have passed these sculptures on several occasions and they were most likely placed about 2011.

Peregrine falcons are formidable hunters that prey on other birds including bats. They hunt from above and, after sighting their prey, drop into a steep, swift dive that can top 200 miles an hour.

They are among the world's most common birds of prey and live on all continents except Antarctica. They prefer wide open spaces, and thrive near coasts where shorebirds are common, but they can be found everywhere from tundra to deserts. Peregrines are even known to live on bridges and skyscrapers in major cities.
