Located within Eagle Point National Cemetery are numerous monuments and memorials dedicated to the men and women who've served our country. One particular monument is a memorial plaque that reads:

This Women's unit is known as the National 'Waves' and comprised of female military members who've served at sea. There are many Waves units throughout the country.
There are many other memorial plaques and monuments located here within the National Cemetery and the rows of white headstones are a sobering reminder of the men and women who dedicated their lives to the military in our to protect the freedoms we Americans enjoy today.
