At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street, which becomes FR16 in 0.4 miles. From the intersection, continue generally S for 5.9 miles. Turn left onto the new alignment of FR1610 and continue 0.5 miles, noting a restrictions sign on the left posted by Cascade Timberlands LLC. Park and hike E about 1850' to the corner on the left, about 350' N on private property, which is neither fenced nor posted.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" aluminum cap on 5/8" rebar in a ring of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are no bearing trees. The corner is marked with a 3' tall wooden lath stake and two green and white T-posts which bear N and S respectively, both 3' distant.
What property is this mark defining?:
As the result of a lot line adjustment, this quarter corner is on a parcel owned by individuals, not on the land owned by Cascade Timberlands LLC.
