Magnificent complex of Baroque structures from the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. Adapted many times, most extensively between 1697 and 1711, when used by the Czernin family as their summer residence. On the south adjoined by the chateau park, now housing a primary school.

V letech 1560-1570 vybudoval Adam Krajír v místech dnešního zámku renezancní tvrz a prenesl sem své sídlo ze zchátralého a nevlídného boleslavského hradu. V letech 1703-1709 prestavel Giovanni Alliprandi pro Jakuba Hermana Cernína z Chudenic budovu staršího tríkrídlového zámku na ctyrkrídlovou dispozici barokního zámku. K zámku patrila rozsáhlá obora a park, kde byla chována vysoká i cerná zver. Roku 1710 Jakub Cernín zemrel a jeho srdce bylo uloženo do kovové truhlice a zazdeno v chrámu Nalezení sv. Kríže v Kosmonosích.
