...also called as Nelechov(ská) or Kout(ecká) fortess is built in the Gothic style. Its ruins are located north of the village Kouty at the foot of the hill Melechov. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. It was built in the 14th century and was used here as a watchtower to protect passengers after a route from Austria via Humpolec and Ledec to Kutna Hora and beyond. The fortress is now a ruin, from which are preserved parts of two walls. Around the fortress is still very evident moat north and laid dry pond from which the emergency was to protect the ditch filled with water. In 2004-2005, there was conducted an archaeological survey in which were partially uncovered another part of the wall and a fort was repaired and stabilized.
