The mark is a round disk set in a concrete post projecting four inches above the ground. To reach proceed 1.11 miles SE on Redwood Rd from Interstate 85 at exit 183 to roadside parking and the mark on the left. Thence northerly along a marked hiking trail for thirty feet, thence northwesterly to the mark, two feet from a witness post.
