The Blue Swallow Motel is a National & State listed Historical building.

My favourite Mural is James Dean, with classic sports car, the You are Here in Tucumcari Tonight Sign, & of course The Mother Road.

All the rooms have a Route 66 associated artworks, & period cars, painted on the outside of the building. The James Dean Mural is on the end wall of a block of rooms & faces the road.

The artists Wesolowski & Rennaux painted many more murals at this location, in 2008 including inside the garages.
