The Susquehanna River is flowing from Cooperstown past Binghamton, into Pennsylvania toward the Chesapeake Bay. Owego Creek is a major stream flowing north to south. They meet just west of Owego, New York. Just about all of Owego is in the 100 year flood plane of the Susquehanna. There was major flooding in 2011.
