A stunning giant panoramic mural, featuring the nearby 'Conchas Dam & Lake' The art work is so realistic, it looks as if you could take a swim.
Conchas Lake is a large reservoir formed behind the Conchas Dam on the Canadian River, approx. 25 miles North of Tucumcari.
The mural must be nearly 100 feet long in total, & is painted on two walls of the Tucumcari General Insurance agency.
Tucumcari now has about 40 murals on the Mother Road corridor through the Town, many painted by Doug & Sharon Quarles. The Quarles had help painting this mural from Tom Windham.
The Quarles have an Art Gallery in the town. (
