Christian of Gensdorf had the original water Renaissance chateau built in the mid-16th century; later, Renaissance renovations were made at the beginning of the 17th century. Four angle polygonal towers were added to the block structure at this point. A park was landscaped around the chateau. The Czernins owned the chateau in the 19th and 20th centuries. J. Schulz had the chateau renovated according to his design and the Neo-Baroqaue porticus was created.

Puvodne vodní renesancní zámek dal postavit v polovine 16. stol. Christian z Gensdorfu; pozdne renesancní úpravy probehly na pocátku 17. stol. Tehdy byla bloková stavba doplnena ctyrmi nárožními polygonálními vežemi. Kolem zámku byl upraven park. V 19. a 20. stol. patril zámek rodu Cernínu. Na prelomu 19. a 20. stol. zámek upravil J. Schulz a podle jeho projektu byl vytvoren novobarokní portikus.
