The cemetery of Hinterzarten is located in the southern part of town, about 300 meters from the church. It is an irregularly shaped area witha chapel and about 150 graves, it is enclosed with a small roofed stone wall.
The place looks like calm and peaceful, but just behind the trees is a large ski jump complex, and I bet it can be very noisy, when there is an international competition going on.
