Louella Estella McDowell Sims ("Stella") was born the day before Christmas 1874 in Washington County, Arkansas. She was a member of Simsberry Methodist Church, at which this graveyard ("churchyard cemetery") is located. She and her husband, William Richard Sims, had 4 daughters and one son. She lived about 2 months over 100 years, to 16 February 1975.

Her longevity seems to have at least been passed down to her daughter Maude, who also lived to 100, and is buried next to Estella, as is also Estella's husband William. At the time of this posting, the only 2 centenarians in this small graveyard are Estella and her daughter.
