The buildings are three-deckers houses built in the late 1920's in a neighborhood that was primarily Jewish families. They were middle-class folks relocated from older, inner city neighborhoods. The architectural style are primarily Craftman and Colonial Revival.

Built in 1926. Max Katz co-owned this property with Ruebin Dodin, a carpenter. Max was the president and treasure of City Brick Company and owner of 8 other Worcester residential properties. Other tenants here included Bessie Saltman, a tailoress.
