The Denmark Post shop is located next to the site of the 1926 former building which once this one was completed in 1987 was relocated to the heritage centre near the river mouth.
The Post Shop is open for a full range of services from 0900 to 1700 weekdays , closed on weekends
The town was named after the river in 1829 by Lt Thomas Wilson RN in honour of a collegue Dr Alexander Denmark RN
