The View Historical District is made up of 11 3 decker residential properties built between 1916 - 1930. The 3 decker homes are typical of all the 3 decker homes prevalent in the Vernon Hill area of Worcester. They are of the Craftsman and Colonial Revival architectural styles. The area drew in Irish, Swedish, Polish, Lithuanian and Jewish families. The workers were both blue-collar and white-collar workers which included woodworkers, foreman, saloon keeper and printers.
Tenants included a paymaster, shipper, and a clerk
