If you walk here, near the french german border, you can see garden plots, farms, horses and cows... yes, and alpacas! It's a feeling like hiking in the Andes. ;-)
The alpaca farmers are very active and strenuous, they love their animals and are working hard for and with them.

Wenn man hier an der deutsch-französischen Grenze spazieren geht, sieht man jede Menge Kleingärten und Bauernhöfe, Pferde und Rinder... ja, und Alpakas! Man traut seinen Augen nicht und denkt, man wäre mitten in den Anden unterwegs! ;-)
Die Alpaka-Landwirte sind ausgesprochen rührig, lieben ihre Tiere sehr und arbeiten viel mit ihnen. Das Programm, das sie anbieten, ist riesig. Näheres kann man der unten angegebenen Homepage entnehmen.
