This life-size piece features two figures carrying a church bell, perhaps from parish to parish. The artists website reports:

"My figure sculptures distill aspects of my understanding of life experiences. The appearance of movement in my work plays an important role. The figures are often captured in the process of some action. I feel this sense of physical motion gives a sculpture a spiritual energy. The motion in them, the aliveness, should say something about the person, or people, or the human situation that is the subject of the work. It's vital to me that a sculpture have an individuality or personality, a living spirit all its own. This makes a sculpture a thing not to be easily over-looked and a thing which persists in our thoughts." More information about the sculptor may be found at (visit link)
