Sandia Peak Tramway is the longest aerial tramway in the World, and the most popular tourist attraction in New Mexico. The gondola travels nearly 3 miles, ascending to over 10,000 feet, across deep canyons, & stunning views, as you rise up the side of Sandia Mountains. The Co-ordinates were taken at the base station.
This tramway has two gondolas, that alternates back and forth. While one is at the top the other is at the bottom. The Co-ordinates for the top station are: N 35° 11.743 W 106° 26.049 just in case you wish to view on satellite.
As you ascend & descend you pass over deep canyons, and stunning views, also a sad view, along the way you pass over, plane wreckage, with parts of the plane still viewable.
