The Big Oyster is one of Australia's MANY "Big themed" tourist attractions, on Manning River Drive, Taree, NSW. It can be easily seen from whatever satellite imagery source you use.

With the Manning River providing space for oyster beds where the local farmers harvest some 2,000,000 oysters it was thought appropriate to 'honour' the oyster. Built initially to be a tourist information centre it has become the icon for the Taree Nissan dealership.
