The Dreaming Poles were erected by the descendants of the Wodi Wodi and Dharawal Aboriginal tribes. The poles represent scarred trees & are engraved with animals, fish & fruit that were the major part of their ancestors diet. A rock between the poles has 2 plaques, one explaining the history, the other has the symbols on the Dreaming Poles & their Aboriginal names.

There is another set of Dreaming Poles near the Kiama trail head.
