Located behind the historic Siskiyou County Human Services building is the Siskiyou County Probation Department which was formerly the location for juvenile probationers and home to Graves Memorial Juvenile Hall. There is a plaque monumented on the corner of the building and hidden behind a bush that notes its dedication date. The current juvenile facility is located on Sharps Rd and known as the Charlie Byrd Youth Corrections Center.

I could not locate any information online regarding the naming of this facility as 'Graves Memorial Juvenile Hall' and can only assume it was named in memory of a former judge, probation officer or other county official.
Year built or dedicated as indicated on the structure or plaque: 1960
