This round-lidded SSM is at the Northern end of Oxley Island in the Manning Valley. It floods irregularly, and being a dairying area the grass was very long over it.

It was easy to open, as it seemed to have been used recently by surveyors. A couple of floods since the approval of the Waymark have brought some silt into the box to cover the metal rod, that would normally be used to set up the theodolite over the top of.
