Cascade Cemetery
Cascade Cemetery was in a state of neglect until the Cascade Restoration Committee decided to restore it. Countless hours were spent over this past year restoring the cemetery by a group of dedicated individuals. The cemetery is now protected and maintained by the committee.
The Cascade Cemetery dates back to 1898 and the earliest internment was of Sam Swanson.
There are approximately 13 marked grave sites.
We visited the Cascade Cemetery and it is impressive how well the cemetery was restored. There is white fencing around the cemetery and new cast cement crosses mark some of the known graves.
