This one is visible (to the south) from U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark CS1738 (X 268) atop the steps at the east entrance to the post office. It is near the curb about two feet in front of a sign pole, and is easily located, even if someone has parked here.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1957 IN FORT WORTH. THIS MARK IS AT THE U.S. POST OFFICE WHICH IS BETWEEN THROCKMORTEN AND JENNINGS AT LANCASTER. THE MARK IS 20 FEET SOUTH OF THE STEPS TO THE EAST ENTRANCE, IN FRONT OF THE FIRST WINDOW SOUTH OF THE STEPS, IN THE TOP OF THE CONCRETE CURB AND ABOUT 1 FOOT ABOVE THE PAVEMENT. THE MARK IS ABOUT 50 FEET SOUTH OF AND BELOW BENCH MARK X 268.
