Petite micro-bibliothèque gratuite de quartier extérieur sur le terrain de du service de garde scolaire Brins D'éveil.
Ces petites bibliothèques gratuites, mini-bibliothèques individuelles ou parfois collectives – associations, quartiers ou communautés- qui commencent à fleurir un petit peu partout dans le monde. Inspirées du bookcrossing ces petites bibliothèques gratuites et libres d’accès permettent à tout amateur de livres de mettre les livres de son choix à la disposition de la communauté, dans un esprit citoyen prônant les valeurs d’échange, de don, de simplicité, de proximité et de convivialité. Pas d’horaire, pas ou peu de règlement. Avec cette initiative, chacun peut ouvrir sans délais son petit établissement de prêt et devenir citoyen-bibliothécaire diplômé ! Nous les trouvons en nombre aux Etats-Unis d’où est parti ce mouvement sous la bannière Little Free Library . « Take a book, leave a book / Prenez un livre, laissez un livre » telle est la devise de cette organisation à but non-lucratif créée en 2010 par Todd Bol, habitant du Wisconsin. Ce réseau physique de petites structures individuelles est largement implanté en Amérique du Nord et se développe rapidement aux quatre coins de la planète : Italie, Allemagne, Australie,… Chacun peut mettre facilement les ouvrages déjà lus à la disposition de ses voisins ou de simples passants.
