The Chatham South Lighthouse was built in 1880. The lighthouse is still active and stands at the Coast Guard Station. The address is 37 Main St, Chatham, MA 02633.

At one time there was a second light at Chatham, Chatham North. Chatham north was moved to Eastham in 1923 when rotating lights where installed in the lighthouses.
