This is one of a small handful of BC Control Survey markers on the road to the little community of Gilpin, just east of Grand Forks, BC.

This marker is on the south side of Gilpin Road and about 10 km. by road from the Highway 3 bridge in Grand Forks. easiest way to get here it via Whitehall Road south off Highway 3, then east on Gilpin Road. A little tricky to spot, it's mounted on a horizontal face on the rock, requiring one to be slightly above it in order to see it.
