Frisco Cemetery is located on W. Britton Road, 2.5 miles west of Highway 4. This is a flat area, with a row of large trees across the area north of the entrance. The cemetery is well kept and has a large open pavilion for services. The cemetery is bisected by gravel drives east-west and north-south There are 1145 burials here.
Inside the entrance, a granite marker reads:
FRISCO CEMETERY The people of the town of Frisco met Dec. of 1889 for the purpose of organizing a cemetery assoc. according to the records filed in the El Reno Court House. One A. of land was given by Ansel Cooper and wife on Oct. 19, 1896. There were 30 lots used for burial prior to this date. On Oct. 19, 1896, Ansel Cooper sold Sec. 25-13-6 with the exception of the 30 lots, to Richard B. Griffin and wife. On October 24, 1897 Richard B. Griffin deeded 2 A., with the exception of the 30 lots, to the Frisco Cemetery. On March 14, 1900 an A. was deeded by Jas. Smith and wife. Oct. 11, 1911 Richard B. Griffin and wife gave 1/2 A. for a church building to be erected on. It was stipulated that it was to be used by the Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian and Christian denominations. Any others must obtain consent of trustees. May 8, 1925 1.5 A. were acquired from J.M. Walker and wife. This made a total of 5 A. in the cemetery plot. In 1973 the board found it necessary to acquire more land .84 A. from E.D. Yeager and .21 A. from N.J. Kruger and et al.
