This small Cemetery is in front of the Cathedral Church of the Immaculate Conception on East 12 Street and East Jefferson Street in Brownsville, Texas.

The only person buried here is The Most Reverend Adolph Marx who was the first bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brownsville.
He was consecrated as a bishop in 1956, but wasn't appointed as Brownsville's first bishop until July 6, 1965. He was installed in his post on Sept. 2, 1965 but died suddenly of a heart attack on Nov 1, 1965 in Cologne, Germany.
His body was flown back to Brownsville and he was buried here at the Cathedral Church of the Immaculate Conception.
