The plaque hasn't weathered well but is worded "This seat has been donated by Catherine MacIntyre-Coburn in memory of Robert James MacIntyre." The shady bench has a very pleasant view over Berrara Lagoon towards the dunes that separate it from the Pacific Ocean.
