"Built 1851-1852 by Henryk Marconi in place of Josef Ossolinski's mid 18th cent. palace Neo-Renaissance. From 1872 to 1939 property of the Krasinski and then Czartoryski fasmilies. Burnt down in 1944, rebuilt 1946-1952 without the original sculptures on the roof."
