The Worlds 2nd Largest Cross is located near Groom, Texas. (Where everything is big)
Arranged in a circle around the base of the giant Christian Cross, are bronze larger than life sculptures of Jesus of Nazareth & the stations of the Cross.
Outside that inner circle, there is another circle of sculptures that features other landmark Christian scenes, and characters. Saint Michael the Archangel, Angels, The Crucifixion, The Empty Tomb, Last Supper, and of Course Jesus Christ.
The Sculpture of Jesus of Nazareth, With the two thieves is located at the top of flight of steps to the West of one of the largest crosses you will ever see. The Sculpture feature the Crucifixion, shows Jesus of Nazareth in the center & the repentant thief, and the non repentant thief each side. All the Sculptures have been placed by the 'Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ Ministries'.
