This earth globe is the starting point of a spiritual theme walk in the forest north of Todtnau. The globe is a mosaic made by local school children under the assistance of an artist.
It has a diameter of about one meter and is fixed on a metal pole. The mosaic pieces are colored glass. They show the seas and the continents with their vegetation zones, and you can even feel the elevations of the mountain ranges.
Apart from that there is a great view over the village and the Black Forest from there.
