There is a park in Binghamton called Confluence Park. It is north of the Susquehanna River and east of the Chenango River.

At this point the Susquehanna is flowing east to west. It starts at Cooperstown, goes into Pennsylvania . It turns at Great Bend and heads back into New York. The Chenango River flows down from the north and meets the Susquehanna River here at Binghamton. From here it flows west to Waverly, New York where it goes south again into Pennsylvania. Eventually it flows into the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.
