However, you should be warned that one should enter the cafe with care - stop in to sign their guestbook and you'll most likely end up staying for lunch or dinner if you're a bit of a gearhead.
You'll find the guestbook on a stand in the front of the café behind Millie.
For the gearheads in the crowd it wouldn't matter how great the food is here, it's all about the cars. At the
Classic Cafe, one may actually dine in a VW (Millie & Herbie are here) or rest their feet on a FoMoCo big block while munching on their pancakes. That's not to say that the food doesn't rate a mention. The cafe brags that they have "
the most diverse menu found in Anaconda", with a quart of any of thirteen scrumptious soups to be had for $8.95, salads, sandwiches, subs, appetizers, burgers, pizza, wraps, steak, pasta, seafood, chicken and more.
On the weekend they open at 8 AM to cater to the breakfast crowd with a complete lineup of the usual breakfast fare, from pancakes and french toast, through eggs and omelets to chicken fried steak. The
Early Bird Special, pancakes, bacon and eggs, can be had for $3.95 from 8 to 9.
NB - don't show up early on a weekday for breakfast - you'll have a bit of a wait for them to open.
