The depicted beautiful early-Baroque fountain with Neptune and Tritons is one of many valuable Baroque pieces of art decorating Chateau park Konopište.

Neptune fountain, work of unknown Italian artist probably from the end of the 17th century, was relocated to Konopište park from Castello del Catajo near Padova by the last owner of both castles - Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. Fountain is decorated by four Tritons blowing the shells and by central statue of Roman god of sea Neptune with trident.
