The Northland Arboretum has many gardens. A Gazebo garden, waterfall garden, rain garden, sculpture garden, rose garden, memory garden, butterfly garden and a reasearch garden. There are trails running throughout the 540 acres that are used for hiking, biking and cross country skiing. There is a visitor center where classes are held to train folks about gardening, birding, mushrooming, beekeeping, naturalists, photography and crafting of all sorts. There is a rental facility for community focal points, weddings and anything else you can dream up. Stop in and visit or attend one of the many events that take place. Wine tasting, country picnic, haunted trail, winter light show and a number of running events.If it happens in the outdoors it may be taking place at the "Arb" as many refer to it.
