Located on the current campus of Shasta Learning Center and University Preparatory School are two Senior Benches. This bench was placed in 1944 when the school was then known as Shasta Union High School. Since then, the school has undergone numerous school changes but the Senior Bench still resides here, tucked away under some trees and near a more current Senior Bench for University Preparatory School. It's too bad vandals have spray painted the old concrete bench because it's a nice piece of dated history on this campus.
