[FR] La muséographie s’attache à présenter la ville romaine et les interrogations qu’elle suscite (Novioregum ?) en montrant les limites des connaissances actuelles et l’immense potentiel qui reste à découvrir, les études archéologiques livrant chaque année de nouvelles données.

La première salle présente par le biais d’une projection, de panneaux et de vitrines le métier de l’archéologue et de la recherche.

La vie quotidienne, l’architecture, le commerce font partie des thèmes abordés dans le musée qui accueille près de 650 objets issus des fouilles.

Céramiques, monnaies, éléments de colonnes, bijoux mais aussi maquettes et reconstitutions invitent le visiteur à plonger dans le quotidien de l’époque gallo-romaine.

[EN] The museography endeavors to present the Roman town and the questions it raises (Novioregum ?) in pointing out the limits of current knowledge and the immense potential which remains to be discovered, with archeological studies uncovering new data every year.

Through means of a film, panels and display cases, the first room presents the profession of archeologist and researcher.

Daily life, architecture, and trade are among the themes addressed in the museum, which houses close to 650 objects discovered during the digs.

Ceramic items, coins, pieces of columns, jewelry, as well as models and reconstructions, invite the visitor to dive into the daily life of the Gallo-roman era.
