From the parking area at Todd Lake, off Cascade Lakes Highway west of Bend, travel generally NE on FR370 for about 3.5 miles. Turn right on a connector trail, continue for 0.2 miles, then hike northbound for about 2.3 miles on the Metolius-Windigo Trail #99 to a LOCATION POSTER.
PLSS corner T17S R9E S34 35 T18S R9E S3 2 COR is uphill, 2760' S from the trail, and the present mark bears SSW, 240' distant from the corner.
The mark is described as an accessory to MONUMENT #15 in survey CS17230, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office. This cap is part of the control network for the survey.
