From the parking area at Todd Lake, off Cascade Lakes Highway west of Bend, travel generally NE on FR370 for about 3.5 miles. Turn right on a connector trail, continue for 0.2 miles, then hike northbound for about 2.3 miles on the Metolius-Windigo Trail #99 to a LOCATION POSTER and the corner on the right, some distance away.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe in collar of stones; rising 2"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is uphill, 2760' S from the trail. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a bent-to-the-ground U-post, which bears N, 3' distant. Found three lodgepole pines (one a snag) and a subalpine fir each with a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the reverse side. Found an additional accessory, WAYMARK WMMNMY, a 3-1/4" aluminum cap on rebar, stamped GPS 93 2003, which bears SSW, 240' distant. Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present corner bears N88.7°E from WAYMARK WMMJHF, 2661' distant.

Deschutes National Forest; the corner is described as MONUMENT #15 in survey CS17230, filed in Deschutes County Surveyors Office.
