Homers Chapel near Boswell, OK - Country Churches on Waymarking.com

This church is along US-70 about 3 miles west of Boswell, Oklahoma. There is no web page for it, but a web search produces a lot of "hits" from the usual "locator-type" web sites. There is no sign for the church, but it is listed on the topographic maps, which match the information in the aforementioned web sites. Note: No apostrophe - Homers, not Homer's. The FindAGrave cemetery entry calls the adjoining graveyard Homers Chapel.

The church does not appear to be used at this time. The grounds are not completely mowed; it appears there is some mowing, but mainly for access to the graveyard. Interestingly enough, photographs taken through the windows show the inside of the church in good order and ready to use; even a stack of hymn books to pass out!
